About Us

Lucie Tushingham has been working in conservation since 2000.  She is a qualified Historic Buildings Advisor, with full membership of The Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC) and a Chartered Planner, with The Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI). She has worked both in the private and public sectors and presently works part time as a Conservation Officer for a local authority in Hampshire, as well as running One Stop Conservation. She is also a member of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB), a body which supports the conservation of historic buildings.

Lucie was a RIBA Judge for the South East Regional Awards 2017; 549 schemes nationally were put forward for the 2017 RIBA Awards. The South East schemes were whittled down to 15 being put forward for the South East Regional Awards. 6 of these schemes were then put forward for National Awards. 2 out of the 6 schemes from the South East went forward as part of only 6 schemes in total shortlisted for the Stirling Prize. Hastings Pier from the South East won the RIBA 2017 Stirling Prize, the most prestigious prize in architecture.
